Overview As Agave aficionados, we understand the challenges the distilleries are faced with producing the best spirits possible, maintaining unique and consistent aroma and taste. We also appreciate the importance of great presentation and good design, as it ties into the marketability and the overall success of the brand.
At the Agave Spirits Challenge, our goal is to reward not only those who have proven track-records, but also new spirits and brands who display great potential with limited budgets and experience.
Reviewing When rating entries for Agave competitions, the judges rate each spirit independent of others in the competition. The only information taken into consideration is the price of the spirit at the time of the event, and where the spirit is categorized. The price is given after the first five elements have been rated to prevent preconceived assumption of quality. Any other variables, such as brand, distillery, and past awards are not considered, ensuring a fair and balanced competition.
